About NHS Charities Together
There are more than 250 NHS charities across the UK and most of them focus on helping our hospitals do more. Collectively these charities give £1 million every day to the NHS so that people can stay well for longer and get better faster. In recent years NHS charities have funded major capital projects, pioneering research and medical equipment at our hospitals, helping patients access the best possible care when they need it most.
They also play a key role in mobilising volunteers to support NHS staff, brightening wards and waiting areas with colourful and engaging art and building an important link between our hospitals and our communities. Other NHS charities support mental health trusts, community health trusts and ambulance trusts.
These vital funds and services are above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide, touching lives and making a huge difference to millions of people when they are at their most vulnerable.
As regular collaborators in the design, manufacture and retail of license merchandise, we are three companies used to working closely together to supply major high street retailers and grocers, as well as selling directly online.
In light of the difficult times we are facing, we all wanted to do something using the skills and resources at our disposal to say thank you to all the incredible workers in the NHS who are doing so much and making so many sacrifices for us right now. So we decided to create Help Our NHS Heroes as a Joint Charitable Venture with the sole aim of raising as much money as we possibly can for the NHS Charities Together appeal.
Designing a range of clothing and accessories to sell online, printing and shipping from our UK factory we can hopefully give something back to an AMAZING group of people and let them know their efforts are hugely appreciated. All products are printed in the UK with low waste printing technology. Made in an ethically run factory audited for a wide range of social and sustainability criteria.
As well as raising as much money as possible to help the NHS workers, the safety and wellbeing of our own amazing staff is paramount. Extra safety and social distancing measures we have put in place include all workers being at least 2 metres apart from each other, frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitiser during shifts and regular temperature testing. We have a much reduced number of people working within our production areas with anyone that can work from home doing so.
